Academic Portfolio
Welcome to my academic portfolio. Here you’ll find my most recent/relevant work that explores how I think through questions, test ideas, and translate research into tangible outcomes.
Mikata Health
Mikata Health is a Canadian healthcare technology company that provides AI-powered virtual assistants and digital tools to help clinics manage patient communication, scheduling, and administrative workflows more efficiently.
My class and I were tasked with helping the administrative medical software company get non-users, trial users, or non-regular users to become regular users. My group and I recently presented our design concepts (backed by primary and secondary research) to Mikata's Sales & Marketing team member Julian Castro and Design team member Karrie Wong. My team and I received feedback, and look forward to taking these concepts into the prototyping phase.

Senior Research Project - T.E.S.S.
T.E.S.S. (Trust Equity Scoring Service) is a speculative trust-auditing service that helps companies measure and improve their relationship with their audiences through a quantified Trust Score and actionable insights.
Developed through interviews with business owners and marketers, consumer surveys, and desk research, the project evolved from an audience-research framework into a scalable service model with a weighted scoring system tailored by industry. The work highlights my ability to translate complex, qualitative concepts like trust into measurable tools and prototype adaptable service solutions.

Projected Future Product
This project explores a plausible product innovation for the next decade by synthesizing cross-industry trends in biotech, wearables, and contact lens technology. Through extensive desk research and signal mapping, I developed a speculative concept for a smart/AR contact lens positioned within Apple’s ecosystem to ensure realism and market fit. The work demonstrates my ability to translate trend insights into tangible product concepts through forecasting and prototyping.
Strategy for Organogenesis Holdings Inc.
Organogenesis Holdings is a regenerative medicine company focused on advanced wound care and biologic therapies that support tissue repair and healing.
In this consulting-style project, my team analyzed the company’s operations, competitive landscape, and growth challenges to develop forward-looking strategic recommendations. Through layered research, trend forecasting, and scenario planning, we presented options to the advisory board around partnerships, R&D prioritization, and future care delivery models. The project highlights my experience leading research direction, synthesizing complex insights into strategy, and presenting recommendations in a professional stakeholder setting.

Financial Projecting - Simpler Syrups
Simpler Syrups LLC was a small company that I ran out of Delaware with two friends of mine. We offered hand-made, all-natural syrups made with locally-sourced ingredients.
My Financial Management class served as a platform to formalize our business plan and financial projection including cost structures, pricing strategy, and revenue forecasting. Although the venture was short-lived due to team timing constraints, the whole experience strengthened my skills in financial modeling, operational planning, and translating a creative concept into a structured, viable business framework.
